I’ve been on 25mg for a couple weeks and I’ve started experiencing some weird skin sensations that apparently could be related to glp1? Anyone else experiencing this? It’s mostly on my back from neck to my butt, with a few random places like my forearm. It’s not painful, or concerning… just weird… Like a mild sunburn.

“Weird skin sensations, including burning, sensitivity, or tingling (often called allodynia or dysesthesia), are an emerging, rare side effect of GLP-1 medications like semaglutide (Ozempic/Wegovy) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro/Zepbound). It typically feels like a sunburn, intense sensitivity to clothes, or tingling, often appearing during dose escalations”

Week in on 25mg and really not feeling much. Food noise normal, but feeling slightly fuller in general.

Starting weight: 260 1.5mg lost 17 pounds 4mg maybe 2 pounds 9mg lost 8 pounds Current Weight: 233

I feel like it’s “working” but find it’s weird I have few side effects good or bad. Sometimes I wish I did feel worse as it would impact my food choices. I’m eating generally much better, and my portions even of “unhealthy” choices are much much smaller. I’ve decided as long as I’m losing, I’d give it one year before asking my doctor to try something else as I know it’s not meant to be a quick fix.

Anyone else feel the same?

Stated end of January. Down 27 pounds, and 4 inches. Feeling great! Trust the process!
