Is r/drivingUK anti EV?

I made a post on r/drivingUK about 50mph speed limits on motorways for air quality recently and whether EVs should be exempt. I was immediately banned by the mods for spamming/AI generated content. WTF! I would have thought that would be a legitimate point on a general driving sub.

Why don’t police have scrambler bikes to counter electric motorbikes?

I’m totally fed up with the lack of action from the police against these electric motorbikes. They are illegal and yet seem to be able to ride around with no consequences. There is going to be a serious accident soon and I expect the police will say ‘lessons will be learned’ like they always do.

I was in Yorkshire recently walking along a canal. All of a sudden a couple of kids on electric motorbikes went shooting along the path and right behind them were four police on scrambler bikes. They caught them just up the path.

I was out riding today on the Taff Trail and a group of kids on electric motorbikes came racing past me scattering the walkers that were on the path. Nothing gets done about it. The police ride around in their cars completely oblivious to what is happening on these paths. If they do chase any of these electric motorbikes they lose them because they just dodge up the nearest alleyway. They need to get out patrolling on scrambler bikes so they can go where the kids go.
