I'm spiraling and don't know if its stress or if its the dress

I was married once before but I was very young and definitely went for a princess dress. Big old hoop skirt, lots of glitter and sparkles. It was very pretty but now I realize I don't fit that anymore. I wanted something with elegance and maturity, especially with my husband wearing a dress blue uniform. I'm styling it with a simple veil and louboutin shoes/golden era Hollywood make up. Venue is upscale garden party.

However, multiple people in my life reacted not so well and it's making me spiral, bad. I was told I looked like a c*ncer patient due to being so pale (I have been a bit sick) that I need to hit the gym, etc. But most stinging I was told "its a horrible downgrade. Your dress for your first wedding, now THAT looked like a bride."

I spent 3k on this thing and I'm now a month out and feeling physically nauseous. Also, I can't lift my arms in it whatsoever.

I wanted Grace Kelly elegance, but now Im wondering if I got boring, plain disappointment that is unflattering. Forgive my lack of makeup and hair styling.

Thoughts for real?
