Found out a big secret and don’t know what to do
Hi. so for context I (18 m) live in a small town and go to an international high school for the past two years here I am gay and are only open with it from people from my old town and my family. No one in this town knows. I had a good friend in my first year that graduated last year who is a guy who always hooks up with girls and is very attractive. He recently came back to visit the town for the summer and we’ve been hanging out. I have a gay dating app which is faceless. I was on it today and saw somebody was nearby. I moved the conversation over to Snapchat where this person said that they are very closeted and asked to trade face pictures. I am very careful and usually ask them to send face first so that’s what happened. You can imagine my surprise when I open the snap and it was my good friend who is visiting and nobody knows about I don’t know what to do. Do I talk to him and say that I was the one on the other end of the phone and I’m here for you and I would never tell anyone or do I say nothing and go about it, but I feel bad knowing and he doesn’t know I know. I stopped responding to that account and he does not know it’s me. I’m seeing him for my birthday party on Saturday. What should I do?
