Should I use a color-depositing shampoo/conditioner AND a semi-permanent color?
My hair is naturally a medium to dark neutral brown. I dyed it in December 2025 with Wella Colorcharm Magenta for dark hair because I got it for free in exchange for my review on it. This March, I decided to go to a professional and get it dyed hot/neon pink in an ombré kind of style (second picture). She bleached it once and it turned out that salmon/coral color that you see in the first picture, then she used Pravana vivids on the bottom and some color similar to my natural color on the top. So she told me to use Arctic Fox every once in a while to keep it bright. It’s definitely faded since she did it (third picture) and I have been curious about color-depositing products. That just seems easier and less hazardous to get on things than semi-permanent color. Also why is it fading differently in some places? It looks kind of orangey in spots (fourth picture). I obviously know nothing about coloring hair so I need some help please!
