Used Projector Recommendation

As the title implies I am looking for a used projector that will look great in my backyard after sunset... specifically I don't want a cheap projector but don't want to spend to much either around 200$-400$. I just love the idea of having a family movie night in my backyard with the neighbors I also need recommendations for a screen to put up or should I just be projecting in a white sheet that is pulled taut. I already have a fantastic sound system so that's covered but otherwise any opinions would be appreciated thanks in advance!

Ok so to preface this I thought the movie was pretty good overall an 8/10... so this movie had a pretty basic structure. Man goes to hotel in a new town with emotional baggage that isn't resolved... he finds comfort in this new place and lore starts getting thrown around teasing the monster then something devastating happens that makes the main character act irrationally... ergo monster time. But in this structure they were able to add elements that were interesting to think about... one was the mushrooms as teased in the title of this post leaving you thinking if I took mushrooms would I also see the monsters that have been in my house???? The answer to that is probably yes but for a complete different reason than your mind being opened... Another interesting anecdote from the movie was the comparison between the story he is writing at the beginning to the events happening to him in the hotel... you may have noticed that the place they end up in the desert when he's thinking of killing this kid in the desert they are in a circle kind of like the circle in which he traps himself into to help him escape from the witch... so think of the witch like temptation... the main character originally is susceptible to the temptation as he doesn't see any other way to the prize but what he realizes at the end when he changes the story ending is that life is the prize and shared connection is the journeys bumps and crevices. So he was able to move on from the trauma of killing his own mother somehow after experiencing another traumatic event I guess replacing one for the other but I'm no psychologist... overall again the movie was really creepy and had a good amount of flashbacks in which gave you context for the incoming scenes but there wasn't a lot of I know more than the main character it was you trying to figure out what in the world is happening the whole time which just made the whole thing scarier... anyway that's it from me I just wanted to get this out before I went to bed... goodnight!

Ok so I know I am late to this movie but I don't care I just have to talk about it... a little about me I love horror movies because they still make me jump out of my seat and make my heart race! Now when they opened the casket for the Mummy for the first time I could hear heart thumping like the Jumanji board... there was no words for how creepy and just overall realistic this movie felt. Now I have not seen any mummy movies ever but wow was this a great introduction.

Now the actually story itself looking back on it was actually completely unpredictable... this is because they were such a far distance between events of the past vs the present time where the movie spends about 1 hour and 30 minutes of its time. It's like when they put that 8 years later title card on the screen you're transported as well and the past becomes a distant memory. Now onto visual effects the creepy look of Katie just keeps getting worse and worse as the movie goes on I don't know how they do that but I still am seeing that toenail being pulled and ripping off the skin of her leg... just grotesque in the best way possible. This movie leans a lot on the themes of trauma as a lot of horror films do but this movie just seemed more relatable just living your life and something out of your control happens that leads to dark unbecoming consequences. I also absolutely loved the VHS tape scene it was a throwback to all of my favorite styles of horror... found footage, cabin in the woods, cultish type of feeling while also combining that with relatively normal looking people just doing what they think they have to do. Overall I could keep talking about this movie for a while but just go see it... it deserves the time to take out of your day to see it, I was hesitant but this will go down as one of my favorite horror movies that has come out this year so far! 8.9/10

Well all in all I have to say that was pretty amazing compared to the concerts of his I've gone to. It was all just whatever they wanted to play, this included Chris Thile, the whole time... two new songs were debuted tonight and it was just a really fun experience as always even though I was standing in the back you still felt like you were part of that energy that was onstage the entire time! Both of them just love what they do so much and it shows! Love them love the show what more is there to say except if you get the chance to see them live go...
