for context I've been formally diagnosed with ADHD, Bipolar II, and major depressive disorder, though I (and many of my friends) suspect there's other stuff going on in here. anywho, I know I've always gotten hyperfixations since I was a kid, but one thing I've never been able to explain is the sheer intensity of them. specifically, how that manifests physically. I often get so overwhelmed with excitement over a hyperfixation that it causes the very similar reactions as my anxiety attacks like shaking, shortness of breath, freezing up, etc. what's up with that and does anyone else feel that?? is that just an ADHD thing? I'm very curious atp lol 'cause I haven't been able to pinpoint why this happens
