Hi, I’m 21 and trying to get my tax return. I used turbo tax as I usually use to do my taxes each year. My dad had told me that he no longer claims me as a dependent, but this turned out to be a mistake and my return was not accepted due to being filed as a dependent on his taxes still. The app told me I had to verify through the ID.me site, and I verified but they said it required a video call and that they would email me with information on how to join the video call 3 days later. It’s been a couple weeks and they still haven’t emailed me.

Is there another way to refile and fix the mistake without verifying identity? Or should I just keep waiting to see if they email me?
