Hi all,
Does anyone have any success stories where the GCs BMI was high but still had a live birth? I know there are a lot of variables that play a role here but just looking for some positivity regarding high BMI.
My GCs BMI is approx. 35.5. We are waiting on medical clearance.
Thank you

This might be a long shot, but I’m really hoping it reaches the right person as I have heard from others finding luck in reaching a potential surrogate by posting on different platforms 🙂

My husband and I are currently looking for a gestational carrier (surrogate) in Canada who may be open to helping us grow our family through an independent surrogacy journey.

We’re from the GTA. We’ve been married for over 8 years and have always dreamed of having a family.

I was born with a condition called MRKH, which means I’m unable to carry a pregnancy as I was born without a uterus, so surrogacy is the only path forward for us. We are currently going through IVF. We have one tested embryo currently and will go through another round of IVF to try to bank for embryos 🙂 the surrogate and baby will not be genetically related as we will use our (intended parents) embryos for those that may be uncertain of how this works.

We understand this is a huge ask and not something we take lightly. We are working with a fertility clinic and will also be working with fertility lawyer to make sure everything is done properly and respectfully for everyone involved.

More than anything, I just really want to be a mom and experience the everyday moments that come with it.

If this is something you might be open to, or even if you know someone who might be considering surrogacy, I would truly appreciate you reaching out or sharing this 🤍

Thank you for reading
