Finally after a lot of research and enquiry I have found General 1.5T 5 star CET-B series AC from authorized seller. I found his contact from General website.

My requirement today is for a rented house not exposed to direct sunlight in any direction nor the rooftop. But cant say the same in future as i might move.

I have finalized the product for 65K+500 shipping. 5 year PCB warranty and 10 year compressor warranty. For me money is not an issue main thing I am looking at is the long term reliability and decent service.

Now when researching about the General most on reddit agree that General's CETB series is solid AC but also few on other platforms says General has fake products in its name, now this made me concern.

Also looked at Mitsubishi HNI n electric but no stock with 1.5T 5*, even other brand's reliable models are out of stock. So I found only this.

Please share your honest opinions. Everyone has good and bad experience on almost all the brands. So i have to take a tough call.

Edit - He said installation is done by company and upto 9 feet of copper pipe and installation is free.

I live in Bangalore and this summer is lot worse so planning to buy AC looking at 1.5 Ton, 5 star. Usage is mostly in Bangalore unless I move to hotter place which unlikely.

I did my research and found that Mitsubishi, General are better options and budget is not problem either. Problem is I cannot order online due to some reason. I can only buy in stores like Pai, Girias, Reliance or even authorized dealer but must be in store. I went to all the stores

None of the stores have Mitsubishi and Mitsubishi doesn't have local store either.

Everyone has reported one or the other issues with each brand except for General n MITSUBISHI but they have after sales service network issue.

Pai and Reliance only has Daikin 1.5T 3S 5S are out of stock, General are out of stock in all warehouse and no guarantee when they will be back in stock.

There are LG ACs available, I can look for other brands as well.

There is a new exclusive Daikin outlet and they say they have in stock but I gotta check it out yet.

Finally narrowed down to 2 brands LG and Daikin due to availability.

Top concerns I came across is except LG all other brands hire 3rd party technicians. I am looking at reliable after sales service. Also came across LG service guys expects to buy AMC or charge heavy as well for annual service. And there are reports that newer made in India ACs of Daikin are not upto mark.

I aware of cooling capacity, wastage, star rating etc. Please help me decide on any reliable brand in since past 3 years.
