2024 macbook air m3 with 66 cicles, bought it from eeuu and could not use it much until now

it started turning off at 50% , i tried to continue testing how it behaved and then the battery swell to the point in the picture

my ask here is the following, this was a 2k laptop, this is a lot of money for me no way around it. The battery could have blown on me, I can expect this from a 50 dollar laptop in temu, but apple?

does apple take responsability on this? is it common? do they sell 2k laptops and put in danger the buyers well being?

fixing it in my country is 400 dollars, but IT even tried turning the laptop on after they did some whatever fix and it did not even turn on, this fix might be more expensive?

Depending on how apple support treats this I wont buy apple again, and will encourage people to dont buy from apple as well
