Well couldn't do good in drop year in jee got 88 percentile. Don't think I wanna waste another year on jee . Want to explore things .intrested in cs and ai research and stuff. Thinking to do it with local bsc just going to give exams for bsc. And focusing on this and learn as much as possible through opencoursware mit and harward etc. I mean btech won't land in research I will need to create projects so need time and I think it will give ample time. Thinking about preparing for gate from 3rd year. But here is confusion people are saying many iits don't allow but it is govt certified degree why don't they allow it iisc allows it. Someone who completed it and gave gate can you share what is truth and tell me pros and cons and also how to make friends while doing online degree.
