For our media course we had to create a 5 minute film, and me and my friend (who I met at the start of the year) were working in a group with 4 other people. I was in charge of editing the footage, and the other 4 group members filmed the footage and sent it to me. The footage admittedly wasn't great and clearly needed to be reshot but I decided to try and make it work just to see how usable the first draft was. I edited it together and asked my friend what she thought of it so far.
She sent me a list of things to do, that were not possible for me and were well beyond my skillset. In other words she expected and demanded me to perform a miracle. After I tried to explain why I could not do what she asked, she went ballistic at me. She accused me of taking over the whole project, tried to turn the whole group against me and at one point even threatened to harm herself if she did not get her way. She continued harrassing me in dms until late in the night even after I stopped replying, and I sent the entire conversation to our university.
The university dealt with her and she was removed from our group project, and forced to write out an apology to me. She has acknowledged she was in the wrong but I have refused to speak to her ever since. Am I right to cut her off or should I just accept her apology, forgive her and move on?
