Nipple Piercing Issue
Hello!
I just wanted to ask for some advice about an ongoing problem, hopefully somebody else has experienced this and can help me out!
I have had my nipples pierced for 10 months now. They have healed pretty well, I am in the military so my healing journey and my day-to-day looks different from the average person, but despite everything, I thought they were fine. I have been able to change the jewelry with little to no pain. There is no swelling, redness, and it is not hot to the touch. However! They have recently been in more pain, and there is light green discharge. Like I said, there's no serious signs of infection, but I do know that colored discharge may be a sign of concern. Is this normal while healing? Or should I bring this up with a doctor? I'm not sure if that is just irritation from my lifestyle, or if I have an infection.
I have always cleaned them with dove unscented sensitive skin body wash (I don't use scented body wash), and I do not change them out often (I think I did once or twice, but my piercer did it for me). I also have basic 14G straight barbells, not long bars as there is no swelling so the jewelry isn't sliding around, and they are titanium. If any more info is needed I am happy to share.
Anything helps and I really appreciate it!
