How did you choose where to move abroad?

I’m at the stage where I know I want to move, just not sure where yet.

There are so many factors - job opportunities, cost of living, language, lifestyle…

I keep going back and forth between a few countries and not making a decision.

How did you narrow it down and finally pick one place?

I bought my first house in Evans back in 2021 right after we got married. It's a 3 bed 2 bath single story, about 1,600 square feet with a two car garage and a fenced yard. We paid $242k and have kept up with everything but the roof is original and the kitchen still has the basic builder cabinets.

Now we're selling for the first time because my job is moving us to Charlotte in about 8 weeks. I listed it with a realtor at $289k and we've had a few showings but the offers keep coming in low with repair lists that would cost us thousands. The market around Augusta feels a lot slower than when I bought.

Has anyone here sold their first house in the Augusta area? What route worked best for you when you were on a tight timeline?

Hey everyone,

I just submitted my final assignment and officially completed the CMI Level 5 in Leadership and Management cmi management courses. I’d been putting this off for over a year, telling myself I was too busy with work and life. But I finally locked in and did it – studying most nights after work and weekends when I really didn’t feel like it.

There were plenty of times I wanted to quit. The coursework was harder than I expected and balancing it with a full-time job was exhausting. But I kept reminding myself why I started: I wanted to move up, gain real skills, and stop feeling stuck.

If you’ve been thinking about starting something (a course, a side project, a big goal) but keep delaying it – just begin. Even if you go slow, the progress adds up. I’m proud I stuck with it and now I feel ready for the next step.

You’ve got this. What’s one thing you’ve been meaning to finish? Let’s hear it :)
