Stuck leaf shutter repair Minolta minoltina-s / Minolta AL-S
Hi all
I would kindly ask for some help repairing this cool 60s camera (Minolta minoltina-s / The issue is as follows: The leaf shutter got stuck due to the oil hardening and migrating on the shutter blades. So i tried cleaning them with naphtha this freed up the blades enough to work. But after 1 day they got stuck again so i decided to open it up further and apply it on the cogs directly. After doing this a few times the shutter blades don't even budge anymore. So i assumed i broke/detached a part of the mechanism causing it to not even try and open the shutter blades.
Picture 1: The cogs/mechanism I refer to
After studying the mechanism for a while i believe part 1 needs to be attached to part 2 (part 1 moves the blades and part 2 is linked to the release mechanism). While trying to move part 1 i hit the spring running across the gap. This knocked it up and above the little pin/peg you see it resting against. I put the spring back but i am not sure if the spring is supposed to wrap around the little peg/pin or if it just rests against it. i believe that its function is to push part 1 towards the right in which case it would not wrap around it.
So what do you guys think? Does part 1 need to be connected to part 2? If so how should i best approach this? And does the spring wrap around the peg/pin? Or did i fuck something else up?
If you need any extra information please just ask, i really would like this thing fixed.
Thanks in advance
