Would it be possible to save a root canal tooth (upper premolar.. treated over a decade ago ) that is fractured? A small part of the tooth came off with the crown as did the post. Got tooth recemented at the dentist last summer and came off recently. There is some tooth there. Temp cement that I did has lasted a few weeks but came off again. I’d like to avoid extraction and give myself some more time by asking for a post and core build up and possibly new crown that would be covered by insurance for the time being.
