Hi all, so I collected a 14 plate st3 at the weekend and I have a few questions regarding the car.
I noticed a slight smell of petrol from the oil cap, the oil level remained the same as I’ve checked it a few times since, even after a hard drive. Is this normal with these cars or something to be concerned about?
It has an X48R turbo fitted, are they meant to be so loud? On low boost it’s very loud. I initially thought it was a boost leak or a bearing issue but I’ve had a look about and it seems the puma speed x series are all pretty loud.
Lastly, the TPMS light comes up flashing when starting the car and then goes solid after a few minutes. I’ve checked the pressures and they’re all good, no leaks at all. It has aftermarket OZ racing wheels fitted so could it be this or just faulty sensors? I’m getting it booked in for a full set of PS5s so I’ll ask them to change the sensors and see if the problem persists.
