I’m currently researching the MEIE program at TMU and wanted to get some "real-world" feedback from people who have actually gone through it (or are in it now).

The website talks a lot about venture building and the DMZ, but I’d love to hear from a student perspective:

• **Practical vs. Theoretical:** Is the program actually hands-on for starting a business, or does it feel more like a traditional academic Master's?

• **The DMZ Connection:** How integrated is the program with the DMZ? Do students actually get meaningful mentorship or incubator space?

• **Networking:** Are the professors and guest speakers well-connected in the Toronto tech/startup scene?

• **ROI:** For those who have graduated, did the degree actually help you launch a venture or pivot into a product leadership role? Or do you think an MEng or MBA would have been a better choice?

Any insight good or bad would be really appreciated. Thanks!
