LCWRA and work focused interview- England

Hi, this sub recently helped me with a LCWRA query so I’m hoping I can find some help here again!

I was recently awarded LCWRA (for agoraphobia, OCD and ADHD- I am unable to leave my house among other issues) following a tribunal. At almost exactly the same time I lost my long term, full time remote job. I then received a UC notification saying I had a work focused interview at my local job centre. I replied advising I was on LCWRA and cannot leave my house, they have since replied saying that they will call me at the appointment time to “discuss my circumstances”. Is this correct? I was under the impression that I would not have these appointments, and have already discussed my circumstances repeatedly in order to be awarded LCWRA.

I am really uncomfortable with the idea of getting badgered into looking for further remote jobs. My previous employer put multiple reasonable adjustments in place in order to keep me employed, and even with those in place I got to the point where I couldn’t continue working.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I’ve recently lost my job (England) and have been using the entitled2 benefit calculator to work out my new situation. It tells me my partner would be entitled to carers allowance.

I know from here that carers allowance is deducted in full from UC, however the benefits calculator makes no mention of this. When my results are given, does anyone know whether the universal credit amount stated is before or after the carers allowance deduction?

Thanks in advance.
