he keeps saying he's fine. he is not fine. watched him hold a restaurant menu at arm's length last week and then pretend he could read it fine. he retired two years ago and I don't think he's been to an eye doctor since his work insurance ended. i don't want to embarrass him by pushing too hard but i also don't think Medicare actually covers what he thinks it covers. does anyone know what the actual situation is here? he's 68 and wears readers but i think he needs actual glasses at this point.

read the medicare website 3 times and I still don't fully understand what im looking at. something about medically necessary eye exams being covered but routine ones not being covered and i don't know which category i fall into. i just need to see. is that medically necessary or not? retired last spring and my husband keeps saying just go but he has perfect vision and has never thought about this in his life so hes not helpful. i feel like missed a step somewhere
been to the ozarks once before but it was years ago and i basically just drove around with no plan. want to do it properly this time and someone mentioned looking into vacation packages instead of booking everything separately. genuinely curious how those work out here because the ozarks feels like the kind of place where you want flexibility. like what if you find a trail you want to spend the whole day on or a spot on the lake you dont want to leave. does a package situation kill that vibe or do they actually leave enough room to just be spontaneous? also open to any area specific recs. last time i barely scratched the surface and i know there's a lot more to see depending on which part youre in
