I recently received two offers, one is a BSc in Math at the University of Alberta and the other is a BA in Urban Studies at the University of Calgary. I currently live in Calgary, so if I stay here it would save a lot of money on rent and living costs, and my parents also prefer that I stay. However, I feel like I may prefer math more because I enjoy problem-solving and logical thinking. At the same time, I am a bit worried about job prospects after graduation for both options. I would really appreciate any advice, especially from people who studied math or urban studies or had to make a similar decision. Thank you!
