WODPilot: a CrossFit-style WOD generator that programmes for you based on your training history (Android, free trial + one-time unlock)

Stop paying £20/month for programming or just doing random WODs off Instagram. I built WODPilot: an Android app that generates a fresh CrossFit-style workout for you every day based on what you've actually been doing.

It's not a fixed programme. It's a rule-based engine that tracks your last few sessions and picks the next one based on:

  • Which movement patterns you've neglected (squat, hinge, vertical pull, etc.)
  • Whether you're due a heavy day
  • Whether you've been stuck in one time domain for too long
  • What equipment you actually have at home or in the gym
  • Whether you've flagged any injuries (it'll route around them)

Some things I think are genuinely cool:

  • Injury adaptation: flag a body part and the engine excludes movement patterns that stress it, with a clear tag on the dashboard so you always know an adaptation is in place
  • 570 benchmark WODs: Curated sessions plus the engine generates original ones. Theoretically over 1000 different WOD combinations, all programmed intelligently.
  • Smart Coach: log your 1RMs and it'll recommend specific loads for heavy sessions based on your phase + recent RPE trend
  • 12-week macrocycles: hypertrophy → strength → peaking with deload weeks built in
  • Works offline: no account, no cloud, no analytics, no ads. Your data is yours.

Pricing is intentionally weird: there's a 5-workout free trial, then three one-time unlock prices. Same Pro features either way. Pay what feels right and what you can afford.
