Thinking of switching back to Xiaomi after years on iPhone, how well do they hold up long term?

I used to be on android years ago and had a Poco X3 before switching over to ios. I have had an iPhone 12 for the last few years, but honestly Apple's recent releases just havent impressed me much while Xiaomi's latest phones have started catching my attention again. Starting to feel tempted to switch back.

My biggest concern is longevity. Since I have been in the Apple ecosystem for a while, I dont really know what to expect from Xiaomi these days in terms of durability, battery aging and long-term software support.

Ideally I would want the phone to last around 5 years comfortably, maybe with a battery replacement somewhere around year 3 without feeling forced to upgrade. For people who haave used Xiaomi long term, is that realistic nowadays? Can their phones hold up that well over time?

Looking for some tips (newbie here).

I'm planning a 2 week trip to Utah and there will be a variety of camping involved, some car camping and a few nights backpacking in the forest. I'm almost done with my list of what I gotta bring with me including items I already have and then a few things I gotta purchase like a new sleeping bag, water filter and better headlamp.

All is left is the power bank, I have done some digging here and there and thinking either Anker or RavPower. At the same time I feel like I could be getting something way more value for the money. I don't have much time left to wait for sales so just recommend a product that's worth the money in 2026.
