Hi there! I am a recent Carnegie Mellon University graduate seeking roommates for housing starting in August/September. Some of my hobbies include hiking, video games, trying new restaurants, card games (Texas Hold’em, gin, spades, etc.), and reading.

I’m looking for roommates, and my budget is rather flexible. My current budget for my portion is anywhere between $1.5-$3.5k. Ideally I’d avoid manhattan proper, and look at locations like Brooklyn. I’m looking for people who might be interested in hanging out or exploring the city ideally. If you think I might be a good fit, shoot me a DM or reply here!

This might get buried but whatever. I’m heading off to NYC after graduating this spring. Is anyone interested in connecting after graduation?

(I am not asking for roommates here and now, I’m just asking where I should start looking)

This might get buried, but I do need some help. I’m a college grad who just signed an offer for 80k, and while I’m very excited I’m also a bit concerned about cost of living. In particular, rent.

I’m under no illusions that I’m going to be living alone. Even without student loans or debt, it’s not feasible without sacrificing savings (or maybe I’m wrong, who knows!).

The problem I’m facing right now is that I know nobody in this city. Where could I find roommates to help split the rent with, ideally in a safe manner?

I do not know where to look, so I thought I’d reach out to those who know best!
