
Hi everyone,
I noticed an unexpected deduction labeled “INS Premium” (~₹1500) in my April 2026 salary slip.
The issue is:
- I did not receive any prior communication or give consent for this deduction
- In my company portal (Your Rewards → My Benefits), the “My Cost” is shown as 0 for all insurance categories
- I have also checked slip for last year didnt see anything like this before.
Because of this, the deduction seems unclear and possibly incorrect.
I have already raised a support ticket with HR/payroll, but haven’t received a clear response yet.
Just wanted to ask:
- Has anyone faced something similar?
- What is this usually for (group insurance enrollment, etc.)?
Any advice would be helpful.
