I saw a post on Reddit earlier about how much Twitter tends to hate Caitlyn and that there's a "monthly hate post" about her but in reality, like with most things, I don't think Twitter here represents the majority opinion. Like I think the majority opinion is that she's an interesting character who lost her way and then found it again, very few people actively hate her outside of Twitter circles. Like sure she may not be the fan favorite but in terms of being hated, the more steps back I take and actually look at the reception she's not really all that hated outside of Twitter and some Tik Tok spaces. But you already know Tik tokers don't actually watch the shows or movies they talk about. But like very few people outside of these very niche spaces actively hate her from what I've seen.

(Yes...Im aware Twitter is a part of the problem but let me be proud of my research.)See if you search the Arcane tag on Twitter you'd be under the belief Arcane is one of the worst shows of all time and that it's one of the most hated series to ever grace earth. But if you search up Arcane literally ANYWHERE else on any app, search engine, or just ask a friend irl, you'll realize Arcane is actually one of the most loved shows of all time. Same goes with their characters too like Mel or Caitlyn. Twitter is truly never representative of the general public in ANY situation lol, especially when it comes to pieces of media with any senblence of nuanced storytelling.
