Hello everyone,
I got a ringworm on my chest about 8 months ago. At this point the ringworm is gone but I just don't know how to get the skin to heal completely. Here are the steps I have taken:
- Used anti fungal cream religiously. I probably used it for 3/4 months. It helped with the itching and flakiness.
- Went to a doctor who gave me fluconazole. Took that for 3 weeks. No significant difference in the red spot
- Have been using Triamcinolone Acetonide for the last 3/4 weeks. No significant difference in the red spot
At this point I just want this to heal and for my skin to go back to normal. Does anyone here have any advice on what products/next steps I can take. I asked my derma if we can laser it and he said "it's not brown enough for me to want to do that". Any advice is appreciated.
