I’ve never really done a serious junkyard build, or any build in Toxic Valley, so I decided it’s time to do both. It’s a resource camp extracting lead to feed my Cursed Elder’s Mark. I wanted to lean on my set design experience to make something imposing, and very layered when viewing from multiple angles. To go this tall, I raised the camp module so that the build bubble is barely touching the ground. There is no grid, and there’s 4 player useable levels. Freeform paths and decks made from the wood catwalks is my new jam. It makes the camp look organic. Budget is sitting at about one light away from exploding.

I’m currently sitting, stuck about 100ft above the exact spot I want at Jackson Junkyard, trying to get that camp module just close enough so the bubble touches the ground. I’m using the only method that still works for me, the generator method, and had to walk this thing in all the way from the canyon to the north.

I’m at the point where I’m moving the module down, and I’ve hit the wall where it’s telling me the module can’t be placed close to existing locations.

But I just saw a badass camp inside the junkyard, near this spot.

How?
