Going for a second interview. In the first interview they said I'd be building a book of business. I'm assuming the underwriters at the company will help me learn how to do that. I don't really know how anything about underwriting or sales but for the salary they're offering I'm down (unless they want me selling to my friends and family in which case I'll decline the job offer). I've only ever worked in food service so $64k/yr is much higher than any salary I've ever gotten. Does this job sound legit, has anyone here ever built a book of business and has advice? I'm confident in my analytical skills but can be slightly nervous interpersonally, but I want to improve.
