I was an insurance agent for the last 3 years, and I'm sick of it.

There's a lot of things I don't like about insurance, it feels like I'm scamming people. The services my company offers are of poor quality, making them difficult to sell.

Anyways, that's not the point. I don't want to do this anymore. I've been on the lookout for a new job that isn't insurance. I also found out that I don't like sales, having to meet a quota every month and not having a consistent income has become very stressful over time.

I'm not asking for job recommendations, I'm confident in my ability to find the correct path for me. But feel free to leave suggestions if you so wish. I'm requesting assistance finding **how** to find a job that isn't sales.

I don't know where to look for another job, sales is all I know, insurance was my first and only job. I installed Indeed and I'm convinced it's just a data harvesting piece of junk built to keep you around for as long as possible. The problem with Indeed is that it recommends jobs based on your experience, the only problem is that I don't want to do insurance or sales and that's all I see on my front page. I want a different career.

My strategy for finding open positions online is to go on an incognito tab and look at what's available. I've applied to grocery stores, restaurants, and warehouses. I get rejected or ghosted. Is it my office background? Do I make a new account with no resume?

I've walked into physical locations to ask for a job the old fashioned way and they always tell me to apply online. Same story, ghosted or rejected.

What do I do? How/where do I apply for non-sales positions?
