Opinions on spelling variations of Chris (MtF)

After having come out to my wife recently, I feel like its time to start setting on what to call myself.

I've been Christopher James for 40 years. I liked that name well enough....Or at least as well as you can when you've been dealing with a huge amount of gender dysphoria.

I think I am going to 'generally' keep the first letter of each name.

C and J.

I've been thinking about Christa Jade, or varying it to Crissta Jade.

I don't want to do "Christine", because I have a couple of coworkers with that name already. I don't want to do "Christina", because that is the name of one of my wife's sisters.

Crystal Jade is .... maybe a little.... "too much" ?

I don't feel like a disney princess, so I don't think Jasmine is right for me.

Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated.

I came out to my wife about 2 weeks ago. It is the single scariest thing I've ever done, and that includes a few near-death experiences.

She has been wonderfully supportive. It makes me wish that I'd have come out to her much earlier in our relationship than 10-years-in...

Also stresses me out that I'm not really a spring chicken anymore...But...I hear that 40 is the new 30. .. ....?

Anyway. I also came out to my best friend/brother-in-law and sister-in-law. Scary. But not as scary as coming out to my wife. She's excited to be our town's new lesbian power couple :)

For those that are yet to come out....It may not be as bad as you fear.
