Hello, I am divorced, live alone, and my apartment is far too big for me.

I am 47 years old; I have—or rather, *had*—red hair, a massive amount of freckles, and, unfortunately, very sensitive skin in the sun.

I don't have any children, and without medical intervention, there won't be any. I’m not ruling it out, but it would be a complicated process.

I’m carrying a few extra pounds myself, but I’ve recently discovered calisthenics and am making steady progress with it. I intend to stick with it and expand my routine! If you also have a few extra pounds, that’s no problem—though doing some form of exercise every week will be a requirement.

I’m not a big fan of wearing perfume myself, though I do consider myself to be well-groomed. My hands are my weak point, as they tend to be very dry.

I’m actually thinking about getting a piercing—precisely *because* it seems like something that absolutely wouldn't suit me.

I enjoy being at home; I like cooking, gaming, and listening to alternative and metal music. I’m also proud to say I’ve actually managed to keep some plants alive!

I’m reasonably tidy, though I do love having my clothes lying around a bit too much. (Not to an extreme degree, but just be prepared for it.)

I’m fond of my wooden furniture and generally prefer warm color tones for my belongings.

I’m reasonably well-educated, I understand English, and I take an interest in politics and science.

I do have a sense of humor—though sometimes it seems to have a mind of its own.

My brain is wired with ADD, so that’s something you’ll have to take into account.

Well, that was a lot of "I" statements.

Aside from that, I’m fully engaged in my career; I work in retail management on a shift basis and earn a decent living. I prioritize my free time over my work.

I really miss cuddling, and it would be lovely to see a light in the window again when I come home after work. Or perhaps *you* would enjoy seeing a light on when *you* get home.

So—if you, the woman reading this, are generally open to getting a bit more active, sharing activities in the kitchen and around the apartment, and bringing your own ideas to the table (while also being open to compromise)—then we’ve at least got a solid foundation to build on. It’s easy to find leisure activities here—especially if you have a sense of humor and are willing to actually step out the door to enjoy them. I’m open to trying other activities as well.

Being open and honest with yourself is definitely a plus.

I’m not a believer in alternative medicine, but as long as you don’t let it do you any harm, I won’t stop you from enjoying it.

Respect other people, even if they don’t necessarily align with your own worldview.

I’m looking for someone to grow old with—and I want to share plenty of fun and joy along the way.

Do you like picnics? I’d love to go on one.
