I've got a kindle colorsoft. I mainly use it when im going to bed and the books that I read do not have dark mode on the pages. I know that when you buy actual books from amazon you can use the dark mode on the books there but most of the books I read on there are imported pdfs (because it doesnt take imported epubs 🙄) and with this model specifically the kindle doesnt allow dark mode for books that are imported. Is it worth jailbreaking it pretty much just to get dark mode? It bothers me a lot because I heavily prefer dark mode but honestly im scared to mess it up. I also would like to get away from amazon in general but thats kind of just an added bonus for what im looking for.
