The end of March was marked as the injury date. However, my issues started back in November '25. I have carpel tunnel - severe in the right, moderate in the left. I am already scheduled for surgery in 10 days.

Worker's compensation has not yet even approved my claim let alone approved my surgeries.

My Dr said they will likely approve the claim but not surgery (I have my own insurance so I am not entirely screwed if they don't approve it).

Which leads me to my questions:

If claim is approved but surgery is not, will I get paid by Worker's comp while I am off of work, 6 - 8 weeks?

I may have permanent damage in my right hand (currently not able to feel 3 fingers) even after surgery. Would there be any compensation if so?
