I know this is probably a very niche question and I'm not expecting very many positive responses.

Last Camino, I used several different apps at times. Be that looking for a albergue, restaurant, the turn I seemed to have missed 2km ago... Whatever. I generally walk by arrows or obvious tracks, there are a few times an app is useful.

This Camino I'm trying get off my phone and be less connected. When opening an app, it's hard not to see a notification of an email or message from someone. So to reduce the dopamine draw... I've picked up an Amazfit Trex 3 Pro.

This watch can store offline maps and gpx points in its internal storage so I can ignore my phone for more of the day.

At least..... That was my plan.

I've added maps to the watch using the Zepp app and I can use it locally, no problem, including making routes in the watch itself.

I'm having a really hard time adding any gpx files.

So, before I spend several hundred hours, making a new gpx route point by point in a mapping program, does anyone have any tips?

On Thursday last week, I had an emergency removal of a epididymal cyst. I know I'm probably panicking for no reason, but anxiety is not always logical.

I'm scheduled to start my 2nd Camino on June 3rd. According to Google I should be fit enough to walk but I know it's absolutely gonna negatively affect my fitness level as I'm going to be recovering from surgery for another week at least.

Anyone else have a similar surgery and walk about 6 weeks later?
