Should I get it? Am I overreacting?

I am 32 F and very healthy and recently found a gallbladder polyp and now getting very anxious about colon cancer. I believe there is no history of colon cancer in my moms side of the family but I don’t talk to my dad so not sure about ANY family history there.

Ever since I can remember I have always had a sensitive stomach. I don’t have nausea after every meal but if I eat something with heavy cream I do feel nauseous. Healthy foods I feel fine (I primarily eat very healthy). No blood in stool. No thin stools. I also have been having some constipation but also taking iron supplements. It’s getting better. My ferritin is low.

Based on this should I get a colonoscopy? My doc thinks I should just do it at 40.

Have recently gotten 15 interviews but just not getting offers, even for roles I am a perfect fit for. Here are some details about me:

  • I left my company in January because I had a very toxic manager. When I get asked why I left I just say the scope of the role was becoming more focused on something that was not my career focus and then I start saying how excited I am for the role I am interviewing for.
  • I have been rejected so far for 5-6 jobs. 3 at the final offer stage.
    • 1 I was a top candidate but then interviewed with a VP and was ghosted after that. I guess the VP didn't like me
    • 1 they just said I was great but the other candidate had more "identical" experience to the role.
    • Other one they said they wanted someone with more startup experience which I do have but I guess didn't show that enough? My latest company was a big one but before that was all startups...
    • Another one was just today. They didn't give any feedback. The whole process felt unorganized and I never was even in communication with the recruiter.

When doing interview prep with a mentor two things she told me; I say umm a lot and my answers can be "Long".

Or is it the fact that I haven't been employed in 5 months?? I have been trying this whole time to find a job so it's frustrating. I have a few more interviews left but I'm honestly just wondering if I should give up.
