How on earth can I talk to a real person?

Long story short, I do not have a capital one account, but I've received emails suggesting that I do. I believe either someone mistyped their email as my own, or I may be the victim of identity theft. Obviously, I'm looking to call the company to get this issue sorted out.

Unfortunately, their automated call systems seem remarkably stubborn, and insist that 1: They can handle the issue without a representative, and 2: I need to give them my account information to proceed. That would be fine and dandy, except, of course, I do not possess a capital one account, that's the entire problem.

I'll admit, I'm extremely anxious over the phone and have had trouble trying to brute force it. Is there any surefire way to speak to a human person about this issue? I don't mind having to wait on hold if that's necessary.
