I knew IKEA was "Assembly Required," but I didn’t think that included the glassware. 🧩🔨
I wanted to share this so nobody else (or their delivery driver) gets hurt. This is how @IKEA ships 50 glass cups now. No bubble wrap, no dividers—just glass-on-glass violence.
The lack of protection is staggering. Because the glasses were free-floating, they shattered against each other, and the sharp bits started piercing the outer box. It’s a miracle the driver didn't get a handful of glass when they dropped it off.
At this point, the whole box is a biohazard. If you need glasses for an event, just go to the store. Don't risk a trip to the emergency for you or your mail carrier.
