I’m almost 100% it didn’t work out this cycle, but it’s still not my period so I keep testing compulsively. My body temp is dipping, my back is starting to hurt, my GI is starting to do its usual PMS stuff.
I just took one of those off-brand tests. For prior negatives, after peeing, there’s an empty brighter white strip on the left half of the bubble where a positive result line would show up. This time if I hold it up to the light ONLY, I see something in the white stripe, but it’s not pink, and I can’t really see it in normal light. I had read about the “dent” thing that this test has that kind of looks like a line, but fools a lot of people.
So my test is dented, but I literally gasped and had an omg moment. And now despite everything my body is telling me, a sliver of hopes are up again, and I’m going to be going psychotic until I can run out for another test on my lunch hour.
I am grateful, this isn’t my first and I was very blessed already, but the up and down is really hard.
