Here sit I, pondering mine own life...

The good deeds wrought by mine hand…

and the sins I did excuse beneath cloak of reason.

The maidens I did court…

and perchance the fellows with whom I might hath shared overmany ales or intimate moments.

Did I truly steal only from knaves and wicked men?

Or were some but desperate souls, driven to villainy by hunger and cruel fate?

And now, when 98% of 100 be done…

What remaineth for me in these final hours?

And what game shall next claim mine weary soul once this tale is ended?
