My biggest dream is for Tacoma to have a real foot in the film/creative industry. I saw this warehouse up for auction right next to UW Tacoma, and it instantly made me think about how cool it would be if something like this became a film/creative studio space for the city.

Some of you may hate me for using AI, but this is just a concept I wanted to visualize without paying hundreds of dollars that I don’t have. I know it’s not perfect or realistic at all in every detail, but it helped me see the potential of the building and what it could possibly become for Tacoma, students, artists, and local creatives.

If you want to see the original listing and images of the building: https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/2210-S-C-St-Tacoma-WA/39921397/

And yes, I know harbor island studios exist! I just wanted to share what UW Tacoma could offer to students and the community.

Hey all, I haven’t been to Wild Waves in years, but since they’re shutting down I kinda just gave in and grabbed their season pass deal. Ended up getting passes for the family.

I’ve been looking at reviews and it’s all over the place… like some reviews are great and others sound kinda rough. So if you’ve been recently, what’s it actually like right now? Anything I should be prepared for or avoid?

Since it’s close to us, we’ll probably go a lot and not try to do everything in one day, so I’m trying to get a realistic sense of how to approach it and make the most out of it.

And yes, I will be taking advantage of the unlimited day visits since it’s not far at all for my family.
