Hello. My wife and I brought a 10 week old female shih Tzu Bichon mix (Dot) into our life Saturday and she's been the best. Super loving, very affectionate and incredibly intelligent. This morning, when we got her up, we noticed a pink bump on her lower eye lid. She did seem to have some itching Saturday and Sunday but other then her eye looking s little pink, She seemed normal. I did some googling and feel it may be cherry eye. We have a vet appointment Wednesday and will have her assessed but wanted to see if anyone here has had a similar situation with their baby. Any advice would be appreciated in regards to what we may look forward to with this as it is new territory for us. TIA for any insight?!

I'm struggling this year with my yard. We did have a decent amount of rain already in Northwest burbs of Chicago. I'm seeing some bright green spots along with these brownish areas now. I've put down a Scotts pre emergent and some slow release fertilizer. These brown areas typically are the spots that burn in the summer. I'm not sure if I'm dealing with a fungus or something else. If anyone has any ideas, please help!
