Finance Degree, speciality camera operator - working as a valet parking attendant. How to pivot back into my previous line of work?

Title says it all

I worked in high-end commercial construction management after college for 5 years and wasn’t happy, so made the switch to TV. Quickly ended up as a specialty camera operator for professional sports

Now, due to industry-wide budget cuts and union politics, more than half the work I’ve been promised over the past 18 months has been canceled on me. I can’t stay in this industry anymore. Freelancing, not knowing where my next dollar is coming from, and having things get canceled, has left me in a mountain of debt

I’m working as a valet parking attendant to get by. Hundreds of online applications have gone into the void with no response. I’ve already exhausted all my personal connections

I’m trying to get back into construction management, as I live in a city where that industry is booming. But have not gotten a single response from online applications

Not sure where to go next

I (30M) always get along good with people but with other gay men it feels like I don’t even get the chance to break the ice with people

I’m always going to gay bars and gay beaches by myself and it’s gotten so tiring that I’ve stopped going

It feels so weird being alone when everybody else is already in a group of people. Feels like I’d be intruding or latching on

Anytime I end up talking to someone we end up hooking up. I just want friends. For Christ

I live in Fort Lauderdale

Thanks
