I have a question for trans people who have been on HRT and are really used to it.
Other than the relief I imagine HRT gives you, has it affected your moods and emotions in ways that surprised you?
I’m a cis guy. I ask because I realize I am incapable of crying. I mean, even when someone dies. I can get choked up, but crying is impossible. I just wonder how much of this is due to growing up with the “boys don’t cry” crap, the problems I’ve faced in life, or how much of it is purely due to testosterone.
I hope this sort of question is OK! Thank you for your help.
