I used to he very close with my dad's side of the family (aunts, uncles, 10+ cousins and then their children), to the point where I'd go out of my way to see them and have everyone together. I went to every party, sporting event, helped them move, and would frequently invite them out too (though that was rarely ever taken up). After I had my now 2.5 year old, I stopped making the effort to bring everyone together, and no one has reached out. 4 families even live within 5 miles of me, and nothing. I have a good feeling I'm being pushed out by one family, which I'm very sad about, but theres nothing I can do. I was so excited for my toddler to have my cousins kids as cousins, but now that's never going to happen. I've been pretty heartbroken about it, and if anyone has gone through something similar, I'd appreciate any advice/how to get over this.
