Ds3 2016 1.2petrol puretech

The locking key is in gear box and the cams are locked in place on top but the lines seem slightly off.

Am I being paranoid? Can I send this?

About a piece of metal in my sump.

Also found oil in my water but not water in my engine oil

I've gone and bought a bore scope I've gone through all the steps ready to change wet belt. It's given me access to see more of engine. I've removed water pump and tried looking in there. I've had to order some 12 point spark plugs sockets so I can have a look into the cylinders see what condition they are in.

Only other place I can think of is dropping the bottom bit of engine below the crank pulley in 4th pic although it appears to be connected to the gear box.

Can I drop that piece and leave gearbox in situ?
What else can I do to find out where the bit came from?
