I had a granite backsplash installed and a couple outlet boxes had the plastic broken around the screw holes so I took some plastic spacers and used the yokes to keep outlets in place. Is this safe? one of the outlet boxes though plastic seemed to have a tiny piece of metal in it but that’s blocked from the yokes by the plastic spacers. these holes they cut are small and I would like to avoid putting in a new box
