My partner is using he/they pronouns and is still on good with all of their exes, I always knew that. My partner told me that him and his ex wife texted 2 days ago and she wanted to come by with their old dog that’s about to pass away and she suggested to come by for last good byes and also cook for them.

That’s how he said it and then he asked for my opinion.

I was shocked at first, this came out of nowhere I have anxiety and this is one of the situations that make me feel like I’m just a pawn in a movie, because what kind of monster would say no to that. So I told him, I don’t feel like I can say anything but yes. You guys made this whole plan already and the dog is about to pass away. Just let me know when, so I can make sure to go to work or somewhere else (we live in a studio) He just said okay if you don’t want to say anything to it. I tried making clear that this is my answer, even if he doesn’t think it’s enough. He said it wasn’t an established plan that he forgot to tell me about, she is just an unreliable b!ch.

We had thick air between us and didn’t talk much that day and I went out to an event, all of the sudden he text me that she is coming over to the apartment and that they head out in a bit, will lyk.

I call him, I’m upset, I ask why today, he just said she just called me and said that she was in the area. I tell him to jump since she is barking and hang up, that was at 5pm. I come home at 11:30pm, why is she still standing at the stove?

I look at her, look at my partner, he “tries to introduce us” I go to the bathroom for a bit, she is gone by the time I come out.

I am pissed, I ask why tf is she still here at 11:30pm on a Sunday? WITHOUT THE DOG?!

He said weren’t you supposed to beat work? I went to bed and haven’t spoken with him since.

So I need some other perspectives on this. #aita #wlw
