Detox was the way to go. They did a 7 day sub taper and sent me on my way with gabapentin and clonidine. Truly a life saver. Been trying to quit for like a year and never made it more than 5 days even with subs on hand. I needed the controlled environment of a detox center. I love you all and KEEP GOING NO MATTER WHAT. Life gets so much better.

1000mg /day habit. Can't get doctors to give me more than 4mg subs which dont touch it, so I'm eating 4 strips and running out in 3 days then relapsing every single week for MONTHS just circling drain. Going to get stabilized on suboxone in detox then taper off that and be FREE FROM THE CHAINS
